Belisa Barbachano, Founder of the Maya Foundation in Laakeech and owner of Hacienda Chichén, is the daughter of Fernando Barbachano Peon who laid the groundwork for the Chichén Itzá to become one of the most popular tourist spots in the Yucatán Peninsula.
